Shopping for blouses!

Having been so good for such a long time, not spending much on clothes and instead using it for furniture to our new home, these past few weeks I completely failed to contain myself.

I suppose it was that unexpected windfall that got me going. New Autumn Coat, new Chelsea Boots, a pair of jeans and three blouses. I did stay on the budget side of the street though, and got myself a long sleeved from Holly & Whyte by Lindex, a 3/4 sleeved from COS and a short sleeved brocade from Stockholm by MQ.

These will certainly spice up my wardrobe of black and grey these next few months. (Delighted with myself!)

My Inspiration for October!

Autumn is finally here, the leaves are beginning to fill the streets and the parks, ballet flats are out away and I am wearing my new Chelsea  boots to work, scarves and gloves are being pulled out of storage and my beloved Aran jumper is in use yet again.

I absolutely love this season, bring on the Autumn!

Visnings in Råsunda & FUN at the Fire Station

IMG_6893Great day today, 3 viewings in Råsunda / Sundbyberg, and we may have a contender. We’re looking for a home as we sold our home a few weeks ago. as we have to move out very soon we need one pronto.

What am I wearing? Coat: COS, Jumper: Carin Wester, Jeans: Twist & Tango, Boots: Blundstone. So comfy!

After the viewings we ended up passing by the Fire Station in Råsunda where we they had an Open Day for the kids, hot dogs, burgers, quiz, Fire Engines and Fire Fighters! FAB!

Autumnal garb and a new home!

The Times They Are a-Changin, we sold our home in Vasastan (central Stockholm) and the future in the burbs is calling. At the moment we are looking for a new home just outside the Stockholm City Tolls. Bromma, Råsunda, Midsommarkransen possibly Aspudden are the prime areas, and we go on excursions every Sunday looking for the perfect home.

Autumn has arrived and the leaves on the trees have begun to turn yellow. We are yet to see the red mix in with these auburn shades that surround us, but soon it will be here. The full on Autumn that slowly will turn to Winter.

IMG_6806During the past week I’ve managed to do some shopping. It’s been a while since I really splashed out on myself, but I felt it was time to invest in some Autumnal garb. Some pieces to get me through the coldish Autumn months, before the Swedish Winter hits.

As usual I am most predictable and have picked up some dark blue jeans, a blue coat, blouse from COS and Chelsea Boots. (Classics will rule this Winter)

Autumnal Garb!

Hi there,

Just a couple of hours left of 2011 and I am just back from my last Bikram Yoga session of the year. It was wonderful, one of the hardest classes since I began practicing Bikram in July this summer but I am feeling GREAT now and soon we’re off to meet my future sister-in-law at Bonnier Konsthall for a cappu.

BUT I can’t help myself, I am still scouring the COS website for bargains. Now I am stuck on the kids clothes. here are some of the items I am considering for my dear daughter!

I faced a real challenge today, passing by the COS shop on Biblioteksgatan without going in and spending a fortune. They have so many pieces right now that I am in love with and it was so tempting to go in, but I didn’t.

This evening I have spent nearly an hour on the online shop being tempted by so many things. See below!
